About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service (Kriminalvården)
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will become safer and more secure for everyone. We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation, remand centers, and prisoner transport.
The Security Department is a division at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's headquarters, tasked with directing and driving the agency's security work. Security work includes physical security, operational security, and intelligence. The department is also responsible for national security readiness, conducting internal investigations by the agency, and investigating serious incidents.
The Technical Security Section is responsible for requirements specification within security systems and security technology, as well as coordinating the Rakel system and the agency's overarching strategic fire safety work.
We are now looking for an Asset Manager with a focus on security systems for the section.
