Operational Purchaser IS/IT // Tactical Buyer to Saab - Fixed-term Contract

Would you like to work in a broad and business-oriented purchasing role within IT while being part of one of Sweden's most high-tech companies? We are now looking for an Operational Purchaser IS/IT for Saab for a fixed-term contract of approximately 6 months.

About the Assignment

The assignment runs preliminarily between 2026-08-01 - 2027-01-31 and is located within Group Procurement, focusing on indirect materials and services related to IS/IT.

In this role, you will work closely with strategic buyers, internal operations, and external suppliers. You will be responsible for operational and tactical purchasing activities across several IT categories such as hardware, software, and IT services.

Responsibilities

As a Purchaser, you will among other things:

• Drive selected sourcing projects and purchasing activities
• Support strategic buyers with tactical purchasing matters
• Manage purchase orders in the company's purchasing system
• Work with supplier onboarding as well as setting up catalogs and punch-outs
• Ensure that products, prices, delivery terms, and information are correctly updated in the systems
• Generate reports and work with data analysis and follow-up
• Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization and with external suppliers

Requirements

• High school education and preferably a vocational higher education (YH) in purchasing or equivalent experience
• Experience in purchasing or sourcing
• Experience or understanding of IT-related areas such as hardware, software, or IT services
• Interest in digitalization and improvement work
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits

• University degree in a relevant field
• Previous experience in IT purchasing or working in large organizations
