Do you want to work close to the technology in the development of tomorrow's trucks? Our client is now looking for a Cable Engineer for a team that works cross-functionally with development, testing, and production.

About the role

In this role, you work with 2D cable development in the cab. You receive system descriptions as input and are responsible for creating the cable harnesses, collaborating with the 3D routing team, and having dialogue with several functions such as production, service, procurement, and component groups.

You belong to an agile team with product owners and a scrum master, working in sprints and participating in daily stand-ups, technical meetings, as well as testing of prototypes – both in test environments and in finished vehicles. Travel to production in Oskarshamn and final assembly in Södertälje may occur.

The position is a one-year fixed-term contract starting after the summer. Work is primarily on-site at least three days a week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
• English proficiency in speech and writing
• Passable background check

Meritorious qualifications

• Swedish proficiency in speech and writing
• Interest in trucks
• Experience with Jira and agile working methods (e.g., SAFe)
• Experience with Saber, Siemens Capital, or other 2D systems

Personal qualities

• Driven and curious with a willingness to learn
• Self-motivated and takes responsibility for own work
• Communicative and thrives in cross-functional collaboration
