Job Description

Djupängen is a Special Housing facility with twelve wards, several of which are focused on dementia care. We are now looking for an Assistant Nurse to join our dementia unit to strengthen our fantastic team.

As an Assistant Nurse at Djupängen, you will work closely with our residents and together with your colleagues on the unit to meet the daily needs of the elderly individuals. Your approach will be person-centered, focusing on each individual's unique needs and wishes. You will work in close collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and the unit manager to ensure high-quality care.

You are expected to work according to set goals, take responsibility for various areas of responsibility, follow current routines and guidelines, and perform digital documentation via computer or phone.

The position involves day/evening shifts and every other weekend, giving you the opportunity for a varied workday and allowing you to contribute to the security and well-being of our residents during all waking hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a nursing education or other education/experience that we assess as equivalent. You should be able to contribute to giving other people a meaningful life and support them in their daily lives.

It is important to us that you can work both independently and in a team. You should be flexible in your work, able to adapt to prevailing conditions, and have the ability to prioritize. We value good treatment and good collaboration skills, as well as the ability to understand and empathize with other people's lives and needs.
