We are now looking for a nursing assistant at Breared in Varberg for a permanent position, 75-80% working days, evenings, and weekends. We offer training and several benefits.

About Breared

We are a senior care facility located in Breared, a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Varberg, near Apelviken. Vardaga has operated Breared on contract for the Municipality of Varberg since 2008. The facility has 92 places, with a focus on dementia and somatic care. • We are a dementia-certified facility, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia care and interaction via Vardaga's Dementia Academy.

• We apply a needs-based preference schedule. This means that as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and preferences. We create schedules for 10 weeks at a time.

• You have a group leader who spends most of their time working close to you in the operations. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We would like you to be a trained nursing assistant and have worked a few years in senior care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
