ABOUT THE POSITION

At Rehabassistans, we are two individuals looking to work as personal assistants for our client in central Sollefteå. Currently, we offer hourly temporary positions with immediate start.

The working hours are as follows:

• 08:00–14:00 (double assistance)
• 08:00–21:00

One assistant works from 08:00–14:00 and the other from 08:00–21:00.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 54-year-old man with a positive outlook on life and a great sense of humor. He lives by the motto that obstacles are meant to be overcome and has a contagious laugh. Despite having total care needs in daily life, his focus is always on activity and quality of life. He has a great passion for outdoor life and makes the most of everything nature has to offer. He loves speed and excitement, which is evident in his active participation in Rehabassistans activities such as dog sledding and snowmobiling. In everyday life, he enjoys long walks with his power wheelchair regardless of the weather.

The duties include:

• Occasional household chores.
• Mobility transfers using a floor lift.
• Assistance with personal care, dressing/undressing, and meals.
• Support during training with Motomed and regular stretching.

The client uses a shower chair, electric wheelchair, and manual wheelchair.

Since the client leads an active life, from snowmobiling to long walks, we are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and appreciates movement in nature.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent proficiency in Swedish.
• Comfortable around pets.
• Comfortable with smoke – the client smokes outdoors.

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working as a personal assistant or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare education.

Employment level: 2 hourly temporary positions

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
