RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project and Land Division of the Urban Development Administration is now looking for a Contract Control Officer responsible for contract follow-up. As a Contract Control Officer, you are responsible for developing and quality-reviewing the organization's contracts and their compliance, with a focus on risks, transparency, and fair competition.

You work closely with the operations and serve as a support in contract-related matters, with a special focus on regulatory compliance and risk management. You lead the work to gain better control over whether the municipality, contractors, and consultants are following governing laws and regulations.

Your tasks will include among other things:

• Conduct risk assessments and identify irregularities
• Ensure that suppliers and partners meet established requirements
• Develop and improve contract processes and internal routines
• Ensure that the correct contracts are used and applied correctly

The work is carried out in close collaboration with operations and other functions to strengthen the organization's ability to identify and manage risks related to contracts.

You also contribute to defining how requirements are formulated, documented, and followed up with the aim of strengthening control and reducing the risk of misuse.

The division also wishes to increase competence in requirement setting in future procurements through this position and strengthen us as a buyer.

The position will serve as a resource for the entire Urban Development Administration and its divisions. We work in a process-oriented manner and use the project management tool Antura.

We offer you a fun and varied job with responsibility for following up on signed contracts, as well as performing physical inspections of ongoing work in the field and coordinating this with the work done within the administration to create a safer Växjö. You will also participate in the administration's contract group.

As a Contract Control Officer, you will work among other things with:

• Following up on signed contracts
• Conducting risk assessments and identifying irregularities
• Ensuring that suppliers and partners meet established requirements
• Developing and improving contract processes, routines, and follow-up methods
• Performing physical inspections of ongoing work
• Performing quality and environmental inspections in contracts
• Follow-up of ID06
• Being a support for project managers in contracts

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have relevant education in urban development or civil/water construction, and preferably several years/senior professional experience in the field.

It is important that you thrive in a role where you work independently but also have contact with clients and contractors. Clear communication, attention to detail, a non-hierarchical attitude, and the ability to perform tasks independently are important qualities.

The role also requires clarity and good ability to collaborate with several functions, both internally and externally, to follow up on entered contracts and perform physical inspections of ongoing projects.

We consider it meritorious if you have experience and familiarity with:

• Construction and infrastructure work
• Work according to AB 04, AMA Construction, and MER Construction
• Contract follow-up
• Contract management
• Procurement
