Our Operations

Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and Plastic Surgery operations form a joint operating department for the areas of ENT diseases and plastic surgery. The staff consists of operating room nurses and operating room assistants who work within both specialties in close collaboration with the maxillofacial surgeon and the anesthesia department. Examples of procedures performed include surgery for cleft lip, jaw, and palate, breast and head-and-neck reconstructions, skin transplantation for severe burns, and surgery for facial injuries. We perform advanced rhinology, laser surgery, and bronchoscopies, as well as basic surgery such as tonsillectomies and polyclinic surgeries under local anesthesia. We also have two operating rooms where ear surgery is performed, such as cochlear implants and myringoplasty. Our patients are both children and adults from all over the country, but primarily patients from Central Sweden. The department has a total of seven operating rooms. Burn patients are operated on in the operating room located on the Burn Intensive Care Unit.

Your Role

We have an operating room nurse who is retiring due to pension, and we are therefore looking for an operating room nurse for ENT and plastic surgery who wants to help develop our exciting, varied, and innovative operations. We are a positive group that works closely together to provide the best care and first-class treatment to our patients. We are attentive to your wishes and your competence needs.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education in operating room nursing.

Your Competence

We are a well-organized operation with close interdisciplinary collaboration, which is why your personal suitability is of great importance. We would like you to be proactive and have good teamwork skills.

What We Offer

Our working time model means that we have a weekly working time of 36.33 hours/week, which means you have approximately 7 free weekdays over 10 weeks. We operate Monday-Friday. We have a 10-week schedule and have 5 on-call periods during 10 weeks (3 periods on weekdays and one on weekends). Working hours can be discussed, with some flexibility depending on different wishes. The introduction is adapted to your needs. We offer a permanent full-time position starting as agreed.
