Our Operations

The Memory and Geriatrics Clinic is a specialist unit for the investigation and follow-up of individuals of any age suspected of having dementia, such as Alzheimer's disease, as well as rarer forms of neurodegenerative diseases like frontotemporal dementia and Lewy body disease. We also provide day and home rehabilitation for individuals with other diagnoses, such as osteoporosis, stroke, and Parkinson's disease.

The research team works in close collaboration with the rest of the clinic. We conduct clinical drug trials, academic investigator-initiated studies, and quality register studies, primarily within the field of dementia diseases. Research studies can last from a few months to several years, and it is common to have multiple studies running simultaneously.

Your Role

As a Research Nurse at the Memory and Geriatrics Clinic, your main responsibility will be to plan, prepare, conduct, and conclude patient visits within clinical drug trials. This involves both patient-facing work with standard nursing duties and administrative tasks. You will be engaged in the studies currently ongoing across the entire clinic.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with a strong interest in clinical research. The position does not require specific prior training, as all training is provided on-site. However, it is meritorious if you have documented GCP training and previous experience working with research studies and clinical drug trials. Good computer skills are highly valued as research studies require meticulous documentation. Experience working in the medical record system Cosmic and other study-related data systems, such as e-CRF, is also meritorious. Since much of the work is conducted with foreign sponsors and many programs are in English, you should have excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.

You are flexible, meticulous, quality-oriented, and responsible, particularly regarding your projects. The role involves qualified independent work with significant personal responsibility, as well as teamwork with physicians, neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. You collaborate easily with us and our partners and thrive in a varied work pace, which can occasionally be high. The position may also involve assisting the rest of the clinic with tasks such as sample collection, patient examinations, and telephone advice. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

What We Offer

A permanent full-time position, with immediate start or according to agreement. Working hours are Monday to Friday.
