General Practitioner Specialist at Meliva Lindbacken – Part-time

About the Role

Meliva Lindbacken Health Centre is located a few kilometers east of Uppsala. Here, an engaged and ambitious team works together, consisting of doctors, nurses, district nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, and psychologists.

The health centre was established nearly three years ago and is today a small but growing practice with just over 4,000 registered patients. We value close and non-hierarchical collaboration where we support each other in daily work, creating good care and a sustainable work environment. It is natural for us to discuss patient cases, share experiences, and easily consult with colleagues.

In this role, you will primarily work with reception activities, both planned and urgent visits, both physically and digitally. The patient group is varied, and since we have a Child Health Centre (BVC) at the health centre, the average age of our patients is relatively low.

We encourage initiative, participation, and engagement in the development and improvement of the practice. There are good opportunities to influence working methods and contribute your expertise in a practice that continues to grow.

• Is a specialist in general medicine
• Has good communication skills and a professional and empathetic approach
• Thrives in teamwork but is also confident working independently.
• Actively contributes to practice development and quality assurance
• Has a holistic perspective on patient needs and the mission of primary care

About the Employment

Scope: Part-time, approx. 40-60%, with the possibility of increasing the percentage of employment in the future.
