We are now looking for a senior and driven Payments Roadmap Solution Architect for a long-term assignment with an established player in banking and financial services. Here you will play a central role in developing modern payment platforms, strategic roadmap initiatives, and future-proof architectural solutions on a large scale.

This is the right role for you if you combine deep technical expertise in payments with the ability to create clear direction, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate closely with both business and development teams.

As a Payments Roadmap Solution Architect, you will be a key figure in defining and further developing the architecture within the payments area. You will work both strategically and operationally – from high-level target architecture to detailed solution design together with development teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.

You will contribute in areas such as:

• Payment Channels
• Payments Processing Platforms
• Payments Reporting
• End-to-End Payment Flows
• Architectural Roadmap Strategies
• Modernization and Transformation of Payment Platforms

You are expected to navigate complex organizations, manage numerous stakeholders, and simultaneously ensure that technical solutions are scalable, sustainable, and business-aligned.

✔ At least 9 years of experience as a Solution Architect within Payments

✔ Strong and documented experience within banking, financial services, and payment solutions

✔ Deep understanding of modern payment architectures and payment flows

✔ Experience in defining and driving:

• Target Architectures
• Transition Architectures
• Architectural Roadmaps
• Architectural Runways
• End-to-End Solution Design

✔ Ability to work closely with:

• Business Analysts
• Product Owners
• Channel Owners
• Development Teams

✔ Experience with cloud platforms and modern technical environments:

• AWS
• Azure
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• OpenShift
• DevOps

✔ Experience with both:

• Traditional project models (Waterfall)
• Scaled Agile environments

✔ Strong communication skills and experience presenting solutions and technical decisions in a clear and business-relevant manner

✔ Fluent in Swedish and English
