Job Description

As a Security Officer (Security Administrator), you will report to the Security Inspector and be part of the local security organization. You will work both administratively and operationally with security-related issues. You will have an advisory role in security matters towards the management team and working groups, as well as participate in security forums both internally and externally.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to think strategically and has a broad perspective on issues. You can switch between strategic and operational issues, see the long-term significance and further consequences of matters, and adapt your actions accordingly. You have initiative, meaning you can work independently but also collaboratively with others, and achieve results in complex issues that may arise in your daily work.

In the role of Security Officer, you will largely work with follow-up and quality assurance of security-related work. You plan, execute, follow up, and register security work and have a coordinating role within the business area.

In the role, you will among other things:

• draw up local working procedures and local guidelines for the security handbook
• act as the local ISAP coordinator (incident reporting system)
• conduct supervision and control within the business area regarding security work in collaboration with management
• be responsible for local security meetings
• be responsible for ordering, storing, and inventorying security equipment

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Academic education with a focus on security, or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems equivalent
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Category B driver's license

Merits:

• Documented experience working with technical and physical security
• Completed and approved Swedish Prison and Probation Service training
• Several years of work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant for the position
• Several years of documented experience working with security issues within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Relevant language skills
