Your Workplace
At Arvika Hospital, teamwork is a key feature of rehabilitation work in inpatient care and day rehabilitation. Within inpatient care, we work across two medical wards: one with a stroke unit and the other medical ward, which includes heart patients, as well as an orthopedic ward and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Patients arrive at the physiotherapy clinic via referral or by seeking care with their own request. Outpatient rehabilitation includes treatment for individuals within: respiration/circulation (including COPD, heart disease, and stroke), traumatic injuries (brain and spinal cord injuries), neurology, rheumatology, and certain orthopedic conditions.
Within the outpatient care at the hospital, there is a day rehabilitation program where patients (primarily newly diagnosed stroke and brain injury patients, as well as other neurology patients and others in need of team rehabilitation) are offered the opportunity for extended rehabilitation after their hospital stay. At the physiotherapy clinic, ten physiotherapists/specialists in physical therapy and three rehabilitation assistants work together.
We have a collegial exchange and knowledge transfer in our daily work and through internal training. We strive to be a health-promoting workplace that values a good work environment. You are offered one fitness hour per week, flexible working hours, and a fitness allowance.
In Arvika, you are close to work and enjoy the services of a small town along with nature full of lakes. There is a wide range of leisure activities and a rich cultural and musical life here.
Your Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a physiotherapist to be placed on Medical Ward 79, combined with work in inpatient or outpatient care focusing on respiration and circulation. On Ward 79, patients are treated for heart diseases, such as heart attacks, and for those who have undergone heart surgery. Other tasks within the field of physiotherapy may also occur depending on needs.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist or specialist in physical therapy. For those licensed as a specialist in physical therapy, this title will be used upon employment. Since the role may involve travel, you must have a valid B-driver's license.
We expect you to take responsibility for your tasks and structure your own work. You are calm and stable and adapt easily to changing circumstances. You work well with others and keep the bigger picture in mind. Personal suitability is highly valued.
Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, so please submit your application today!
