Every summer, we recruit around 350 summer temporary workers for various operations within healthcare and social care. Do you want a meaningful summer job where you make a difference for others every day?
We are now looking for summer temporary workers for night shifts in healthcare and social care within Arvika Municipality. With us, you will not only get a rewarding job – you will also gain valuable experience, new knowledge, and the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally.

Here, you have the opportunity to work both independently and in a team, in the center of Arvika or out in our beautiful countryside.
We need summer temporary workers between weeks 25–32; we prioritize candidates who can work the entire period.

Qualifications
To succeed in the role of summer temporary worker with us, we see that you:
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Have a genuine interest in working with people and helping others.
- Can communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
- Have good digital skills, as much of the work is handled via computer or app.
- We consider it advantageous if you are educated or currently studying nursing or similar, or alternatively have experience working with people in nursing or other service professions.
- We consider it highly advantageous if you have a B-driver's license, as this is a requirement for some areas.
To succeed in the role of summer temporary worker, we see that you are:

We need employees for:
- Home Care (Night Patrol): Provides support to people who continue to live in their own homes and need help in daily life. Interventions can include personal care, such as help with hygiene and dressing, as well as service tasks like shopping, meals, and some cleaning. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence and security.
- Special Housing (SÄBO): A housing form for people with extensive needs for somatic and/or dementia care that cannot be met in ordinary housing. Here, staff is available around the clock to provide care, social support, and health care interventions in a safe and adapted environment.
- LSS Activities: Directed at people with significant and long-term disabilities. The municipality offers various interventions, such as group housing, day activities, and escort services, to enable an independent life with good living conditions.
- Personal Assistance: Individually adapted support for people with extensive disabilities. The assistance helps the individual with basic needs and other personal activities, aiming to create increased participation and self-determination in daily life.
Tasks
- Help and support people in daily situations, e.g., personal care and medication management.
- Documentation of care work using a digital journal system.
- You will have working hours scheduled for nights, according to the roster.
Application
Interviews take place continuously throughout the advertising period, either physically or digitally. Prior to any potential job offer, we will request an extract from the Police Register regarding offenses against children and young people. We recommend that you order the register digitally (via Kivra) before a potential interview, which you can do on the Police's website. Remarks in the register may affect your chances of employment. The position requires you to participate in both digital and physical introductory training before any summer temporary assignment.
