About the RoleYou will have a key role in qualifying and ensuring airworthiness for advanced mission systems, including AI functionality. Here, you work in a technically complex and safety-critical environment where electronics, software, radio, and radar interact in products with very high demands for robustness, function, and quality.
The role suits you who want to combine a systems engineering perspective with practical qualification and certification work. You move between development, testing, and system issues, contributing throughout the chain from product development to verification that the solution meets the right requirements. Responsibilities- You drive work within the qualification and certification of mission systems with safety-critical functions.
- You contribute to system development for products containing electronics, software, radio, radar, or similar technology.
- You work with design, construction, testing, as well as functional and environmental qualification of hardware.
- You collaborate with many stakeholders and help keep technical issues together in complex development environments.
- You take solutions from development to verification and contribute to ensuring that the systems meet airworthiness requirements.
- You drive your tasks independently and contribute with a solution-oriented approach in cross-functional contexts.
- Civil or university degree in engineering, such as technical physics, electrical engineering, or vehicle engineering.
- Experience in design, construction, testing, as well as functional and environmental qualification of hardware.
- Experience from product development and systems or products containing electronics, SW, radio, radar, or similar.
- 5+ years as a systems engineer.
- Experience in qualifying or certifying systems with safety-critical functions.
- Experience in system development with many stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
- You have good communication skills and thrive in collaboration with others.
- Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance check (requires Swedish citizenship; dual citizenship is not accepted).
- Experience from development activities within the defense, aviation, rail, automotive, or medtech industries.
- Experience with aviation or airworthiness.
- Knowledge of systems work according to ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 and INCOSE.
- Experience with aviation industry standards such as ARP4754, ARP4761, or DO-254.
