Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. We work closely with the client and know that good relationships are the key to a well-functioning assistance service. We operate throughout Sweden with our headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

We are now looking for personal assistants for a client in Uppsala. The client is a cheerful woman in her 40s who lives in her own apartment. During weekdays, she attends day activities, and in her spare time, she enjoys going for walks, swimming, horse riding, and doing exercises at the habilitation center. She also loves staying at home, crafting, listening to music, and dressing up with makeup and accessories.

The client has a cerebral palsy (CP) injury with a developmental disability. She communicates using her own sounds, picture schedules, and body language to convey what she wants to express to you as an assistant. She has many aids and training equipment in her home that she uses every day for the sake of her health.

When working as a personal assistant for our client, it is important that you have patience and follow daily routines. She needs your help with meals, hygiene, medication, and her daily activities. With humor, playfulness, respect, and security, you will build trust with this young woman.

You will be offered friendly colleagues at a company where the client appreciates her assistants. You will receive individualized introduction/training in all aspects regarding the client's support needs and routines.

We are looking for personal assistants who put the client's needs first. You should be attentive, patient, and have a humorous, childlike spirit.

You should want to work as an assistant for our client long-term and develop a good relationship.

Requirements:

• A few years of work experience, preferably in assistance.
• Being comfortable with bathing is a must.
• Being a "horse girl" is a plus.
• Flexibility regarding working hours, as the group covers for each other during sickness and vacation.

Working hours are scheduled for afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Interviews will be conducted continuously, so the position may be filled before the application deadline ends.
