In the autumn of 2022, JENSEN Primary School opened a brand-new school in Tungelsta, Haninge Municipality. The school is located in a beautiful rural setting with a small-town feel.

In our school kitchen, we prepare approximately 1,200 meals daily, of which about 700 are served on-site and 500 are delivered to other JENSEN schools. We are now looking for a kitchen assistant who wants to become part of our wonderful team.

About the Role

Our meals are cooked in our preparation kitchen by chefs and are high-quality, nutritious, and varied. We have a sustainability mindset and work actively to utilize raw materials in the best possible way. In addition, you share our views on the importance of safeguarding children's health and well-being, including actively working to reduce the amount of refined sugar they consume.

As part of the kitchen staff, you have overall responsibility for, among other things, hygiene in the kitchen and the quality of the meals served at the school. Your main tasks will include ensuring dishwashing, serving meals, and clearing tables before and after meals. The work may also involve delivering food to our other school units on certain occasions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is positive and service-minded. Furthermore, we value punctuality and high attendance. You are responsible and have strong collaboration skills with both children and adults. It is crucial that you are engaged and flexible in your work, with a positive and solution-oriented attitude, as the work may involve rapid changes. A B-class driver's license is an advantage as deliveries may occur as needed.

Employment Type

The position is a permanent part-time role at 43.3% (working 4 hours per day to allow time off during school holidays), starting in August. A six-month probationary period applies to this position.
