Opportunity to apply for a position as a Dentist at Folktandvården Kronoparken/Molkom.

Your workplace

At Folktandvården Kronoparken/Molkom, we are a team of 20 employees. We provide general dental care to approximately 5,500 patients at the Kronoparken clinic and 1,000 patients at our annex clinic in Molkom. Molkom is located approximately 25 minutes from Karlstad city center. Both the Kronoparken and Molkom clinics are easily accessible from Karlstad city center by public transport.

Daily patient work is conducted at our Kronoparken clinic from 07:40 to 16:40, while our Molkom clinic is staffed 2–3 days a week.

At Kronoparken, we share premises with the specialist dental care in bitofunctional science (bitofysiologi) and with the dental hygienist education program at Karlstad University, where we maintain a close collaboration with the educational activities. As part of the collaboration with Karlstad University, research on dental caries in children is currently being conducted at the clinic.

Your responsibilities

We are looking for you who, in your profession as a dentist, enjoy working with team-based dental care and treating your own patients, both children and adults. You will work with task-shared examinations together with dental hygienists and nurses, and if interested, there is also the possibility for an expanded division of labor.

Here, you have excellent opportunities to work variably within the entire scope of a dentist's competence, ranging from fillings and simple orthodontics to more complex prosthetics and surgery. If you wish to specialize in a specific area and act as a local referral center, this is something we at Folktandvården Värmland view positively.

Your knowledge and skills

We are looking for you who are a licensed Dentist and wish to work with both children and adults in mixed general dental care. As a person, you are responsible, stable, and have good collaboration skills.

You must be meticulous and quality-conscious, delivering service-oriented and secure care.

Experience is meritorious but not a requirement.

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. Additionally, there are clinics within all specialist fields that treat referred patients. We are a forward-looking organization with quality and competence as our focus. Approximately 560 people work here, collectively possessing long and broad experience in working towards better dental and oral health.
