The Japanese spa and meeting hotel Yasuragi, located on Hasseludden in Stockholm, offers a unique experience with 191 hotel rooms and suites, 23 meeting rooms for up to 400 people, four restaurants – including Scandinavia's largest teppanyaki restaurant – and a large Japanese bath.

We are currently in an exciting phase of development and are looking for a skilled cook who is eager to master all stations in our restaurant kitchens and become part of our fantastic team.

About the position

As a Chef de Partie / Sushi Cook, you will become a key person in our kitchen and help us maintain high standards regarding quality, hygiene, and working environment. We are looking for someone who is communicative, engaged, humble, and curious. You will be responsible for your assigned station and report to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality sushi according to our philosophy and expected standards
• Handle sushi rice, fresh fish, and shellfish with precision and care
• Be responsible for hygiene, order, and ingredient management
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service
• Assist at other stations when needed, including the hot kitchen and cold kitchen
• Follow safety regulations and HACCP routines

The position is primarily for our sushi restaurant, but we would appreciate if you have broad kitchen knowledge and can work flexibly when needed.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 3 years of experience from reputable restaurants
• Has a passion for Japanese cuisine and sushi
• Is responsible, detail-oriented, and a team player
