About the Role

Vattenfall IT is currently looking for an Operations Engineer within Virtual Client & System Software Solutions (Citrix) who wants to work with the development and delivery of IT services with a focus on secure and stable operations. As an Operations Engineer, you will be part of a team, but we also expect you to have the ability to work independently with external vendors as well as colleagues across Sweden and Europe. Key Responsibilities

• Operations and monitoring of centrally managed customer environments
• Ensure the development of existing environments and be responsible for the design and implementation of solutions
• Participate in transformation and change projects
• Streamline and automate processes and systems
• Patch management and upgrades
• Troubleshooting of varying size and complexity

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is driven, takes initiative, and is self-motivated. You have a genuine interest in learning and understanding new technology, and you show a good ability to quickly get up to speed in new technical areas by being forward-looking and solution-oriented. We also appreciate that you are trustworthy, both within your own group and towards other parts of the business. You thrive in change and have a natural drive for continuous improvement. You have good collaboration skills and a humble approach to the people around you. You enjoy working with others and have good structure in your own work.

We would like you to:

• Have experience working in large environments with both operations and development of IT infrastructure
• Have experience with Citrix CVAD, Windows Server, Windows 11
• Have knowledge of VDI, AD, GPO, Networking
• Fluently speak and write Swedish and English
• Understand and embrace a high level of IT security awareness
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of IT-related processes and frameworks such as ITIL
• Experience within Ivanti Suite, FSLogix, PowerShell, VMware, vSAN, Endpoint Management
• Knowledge of NetScaler, App Layering, provisioning, WEM, 2FA, F5
• Linux experience
• Basic scripting/programming experience and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python, PowerShell)
• Experience working with GitLab
