About the Position

The position is a part-time position of approximately 50 hours per month and includes:

• teaching 2 evenings per week, approx. 4 hours per session
• associated planning time

The teaching is conducted within adult education and aims to provide participants with the linguistic prerequisites required for further studies and establishment in working life.

About the Role

As an English teacher at Astar, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on teaching with clear structure, teacher-led instruction, and high expectations.

You work systematically with goals, progression, and feedback, and take clear responsibility for the participants' learning – even in a limited part-time context.

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher in English
• have experience teaching within adult education or similar contexts
• plan and conduct teaching with structure, clarity, and active leadership
• work with continuous feedback and follow-up on participants' progression
• are confident in teaching in the evenings and creating a study-friendly environment in an adult group
