We are now looking for an Assistant Store Manager for Nordstan, which is the largest store in Gothenburg. We have a team of approximately 16 sales staff and over 900 m² of sales space filled with books, pens, notebooks, games, and inspiration. We offer:

As an Assistant Store Manager at Akademibokhandeln, you share responsibility with the Store Manager for results, personnel, concept, and operations in the store. You drive daily operations forward while, together with the Store Manager, you lead long-term development with a focus on sales, customer experience, and a strong team – always in line with the company's goals. You are driven by leading, inspiring, and developing the sales staff in the store through active leadership. At the same time, you serve as a role model in your own actions as a salesperson in your customer interactions. We are looking for someone who:
- Is a role model in customer meetings and inspires the team to exceed customer expectations.
- Drives personal sales towards set goals according to our "sales joy" concept.
- Has experience leading and implementing change processes.
- Has several years of leadership experience from sales-driven operations, preferably within retail.
- Has good commercial knowledge and knows what creates a successful store.
- Takes initiative to maximize the store's economic results.
- Communicates clearly with sales staff, managers, and colleagues and feels comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions.
- Is structured and organized.
The position is permanent, full-time, with commencement as agreed. We apply a 6-month probation period. Background checks are conducted on final candidates in all recruitments.
