Aurum Hotel is now looking for an engaged and driven Receptionist with Responsibility to join our wonderful team.

About the Role

As a Receptionist with Responsibility, you work in the core of the hotel and are often the first and last person our guests meet. You are responsible for creating a welcoming, professional, and personal experience throughout the guest's stay.

You will collaborate closely with our colleague in bookings, ensuring that conferences, accommodations, and guest requests are planned and executed in the best possible way. The role also involves close cooperation with the restaurant, kitchen, and hotel management to create a smooth flow between departments.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring the reception runs smoothly and maintains a high level of service every day. You manage staffing at the reception and actively work to ensure the reception team has the right knowledge, information, and conditions to deliver high-quality service. You coach and support the team in their daily work and contribute to a positive work environment with the guest in focus.

Responsibilities

The role includes, among other things:

• Operational work at the reception, including check-in/check-out, switchboard, and guest services.
• Handling bookings.
• Planning and managing scheduling and staffing at the reception.
• Ensuring that routines and service maintain high quality.
• Actively working on upselling and service.

It is an advantage if you have experience with the hotel system MEWS, as well as previous experience with booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia).

Qualifications

• Very good Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
• Additional languages are an advantage.
• Good computer skills.
• Experience with hotel reception or conferences is a plus.

About the Position

• Scope: 80-100%
• Working Hours: Days, but evenings and weekends may occur if operations require it.
• Start Date: By agreement.
• Salary: According to agreement.

About Aurum Hotel

Aurum Hotel is located approximately two kilometers from central Skellefteå and offers hotel, restaurant, conference, and events under one roof. Adjacent to the hotel is Orangeriet på Söder, featuring a popular outdoor terrace during the summer. Our conference facilities host everything from small meetings to larger events for up to 120 people.
