About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer with Electrical Operations Responsibility, you ensure that all electrical installation work complies with high-voltage regulations, electrical standards, and the site's electrical safety policy, in accordance with the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority's regulations.
Your duties include switching operations within high and low voltage, handling maintenance orders within preventive maintenance, and issuing work permits. You work continuously with improvements and documentation. You lead and participate in projects of varying size and complexity – together with the customer, colleagues, and subcontractors – where you are expected to ensure that we maintain specified functional requirements within the scope of the services.
Your main areas of responsibility include:
- Continuous customer contact with a focus on meeting customer expectations.
- Plan preventive maintenance for the electrical installation and be responsible for corrective actions.
- Responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and development of the site's high- & low-voltage installations.
- Establish and manage maintenance and investment plans.
- Responsibility for operational issues and develop these in consultation with the Operations Manager and other colleagues in the operations area.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the agreed contract.
- Contact with subcontractors – request quotes, order, and follow up.
- Responsible for performing risk management during planned work or disturbances.
The position is a permanent employment with an initial 6-month probation period.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have a clear electrical engineering background and thrive in a complex industrial and production environment.
To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:
- Relevant education in electrical engineering and many years of experience in the profession.
- ECY certificate – minimum AL.
- Previous experience in Electrical Operations Responsibility.
- Extensive experience from technical operational environments – e.g., industry, building technology, energy, or production.
- Very good knowledge of building installations, energy efficiency, technical regulations, and authority requirements.
- Experienced in analyzing operational data, following up on energy performance, and driving improvement work.
- Experience in developing customer relationships in technical environments and acting as a consultant in electrical operation matters.
- Experienced in preparing text documents and drawings, as well as working with industry-specific programs and applications.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as high digital maturity.
As a person, you are confident, communicative, and solution-oriented. You build relationships through accessibility and clarity, while driving results through structure and technical understanding.
