About the role

As a Security Technician at Great Security, you will play a central role in ensuring customer safety. You will work both independently and in teams with the installation, service, and maintenance of advanced security systems, ensuring the highest quality and peace of mind for our customers. The work is varied – one day you might be working with a private client, and the next you will be part of a larger project in a public environment.

Responsibilities

This role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining various types of security systems, including alarms, access control systems, and automatic doors, as well as handling troubleshooting and documentation.

• Install and commission alarm and security systems
• Perform service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of existing systems
• Adapt tasks and project plans based on daily changes
• Customer contact and on-site technical support

We are looking for you who

• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Fluently speak Swedish, as this is required for the tasks of the position
• Have an interest in technology and security, preferably with a connection to alarms
• Have a basic understanding of technology and the ability to work practically; in other words, you are handy and used to screwing and solving problems
• Have a long-term interest in the profession, with a desire to learn and develop over time
• Are able to work independently and take personal responsibility

Qualifications that are meritorious

• Experience with low-voltage or similar technical installations
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Background as a property maintenance worker or electrician
• Curiosity and drive to continuously develop within security and alarms

• The position is security-classified, which means a security screening, including register check, will be conducted in connection with employment (in accordance with Chapter 3, Section 1 of the Security Protection Act).
