About the Role

As a Transport Planner at Ragn-Sells Recycling AB in Karlstad, you will join a tight-knit team with a family-like atmosphere. Upon starting, you will receive training and an introduction alongside your colleagues to learn the basics of the job and understand your role. During the introduction period, you will shadow experienced colleagues before gradually taking on your own cases, which will increase in complexity. As a Transport Planner, internal collaboration with other transport planners, environmental workers, customer service, and sales teams is crucial for coordinating workflows. You will handle transport planning for Ragn-Sells' entire service offering and conduct reviews of planning and route optimization.

This is a fixed-term position lasting until August 31, 2026, with a possibility of extension. The start date is immediate, and working hours are scheduled from 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday, on-site at the Karlstad office.

Responsibilities

• Plan the operational transport activities for projects within the region
• Manage and assign work orders to the right resources based on project requirements
• Create new synergies when planning vehicles across a larger geography
• Handle weighing of incoming goods
• Follow up on completed work orders
• Other administrative tasks

We are looking for someone who

• Has completed upper secondary education
• Holds a valid B-driver's license
• Is proficient with computers and telephones
• Can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing, as this is used in daily work
• Is available to start immediately and can work the entire period until August 31

Qualifications that are a plus

• Previous experience with hazardous waste and the recycling industry
• Previous experience in logistics
