We are now looking for a Land and Infrastructure Designer who wants to be involved throughout the entire process – from idea and planning to completed construction. Now is your chance to help shape the outdoor environments of the future with us!

Responsibilities

As a Designer with us, you play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects related to streets and land.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Designing streets, roads, and land infrastructure in a CAD environment
• Producing drawings, technical descriptions (AMA), and quantity surveys
• Dimensioning and developing technical solutions for areas such as pavement structures and stormwater management
• Acting as the client's representative towards contractors
• Contributing to the preparation of tender documents and procurement in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
• Coordinating with utility owners, consultants, contractors, and internal departments
• Participating in design and construction meetings, as well as monitoring time, cost, and quality
• Reporting and updating NVDB (National Road and Transport Information Database) and working with map and GIS data

The position is located within Gata/Park but may involve work across the entire Livsmiljö (Living Environment) sector.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in road/land/infrastructure, civil engineering, or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in design within road/land/infrastructure
• Very good proficiency in design using CAD
• Experience in street design
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid B-class driver's license

It is important that you understand the entire process – from design to implementation – and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Merits include:

• Experience with procurement and work according to LOU (Public Procurement Act)
• Knowledge of AMA Infrastructure and technical regulations
• Experience with contract forms (AB/ABT)
• Experience in project management or construction management
• Knowledge in stormwater or water/sewerage design
• Experience working in a GIS environment
• Experience working with NVDB
• Competence in surveying or measurement technology
• C-class driver's license
