About the role

As an employee, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a retail sales assistant for our hardware/tools and electrical department.

Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of duties

• Active sales of the product range within hardware, tools, and especially electrical products.
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
• Responsibility for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring within the department.
• Analyze the department's product presentation.
• Be helpful on other departments when needed.

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, along with experience in retail.
• Experience within hardware and tools is an advantage.
• Good knowledge from previous professional experience or education in electrical work is a requirement.
• Passion for offering our customers the best possible service.
• Realize the customer's projects through professional advice on our wide product range.
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• An advantage if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4).

Working hours/Duration: Permanent. Part-time, 6 hours/week. Scheduled working time 12 hours every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.
