About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at ELK Studios, you will be a central link between development, testing, and production. You will join a technical team focused on ensuring that our games and platforms run smoothly in all environments. You will work closely with developers, the Compliance team, and Release Managers to operate, improve, and deliver high-quality systems and gaming experiences, where stability and security are always prioritized.

The role requires someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with operational expertise to proactively optimize our platform.

The main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring production systems deliver business value and function flawlessly for players.

• Creating, configuring, and deploying games and their components, including game clients, logic, and competitive features.

• Implementing new features to the ELK platform.

• Building and maintaining tools and pipelines, as well as optimizing private and public cloud solutions.

• Providing technical API support to customers.

• Supporting project managers, product owners, and the Compliance team during certification and release.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Linux: Extensive experience in operating and maintaining Linux-based systems.

• Cloud Operations & Configuration Management: Strong experience with AWS (or equivalent) and tools such as Ansible or Puppet.

• CI/CD & Automation: Solid experience with Jenkins and automated delivery flows.

• System Development: Proficiency in programming in at least one language (e.g., Python). We primarily work in Golang, which you are expected to apply and deepen your knowledge of to work efficiently in the role.

• Data & Networking Understanding: Experience with PostgreSQL and good knowledge of networking (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/S).

• High Availability: Experience maintaining transaction-intensive systems with requirements for high availability and scalability.

• Incident and Problem Management: Natural problem-solving skills and a service mindset.

• Swedish and English: Fluent proficiency in both languages, both spoken and written.
