Research Nurse at the Oncology Clinic, Ryhov County Hospital
Do you have a burning interest in cancer care research and want to be part of developing future treatments? As a Research Nurse at the Clinical Trials Unit at Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, you will become an important part of an engaged team driving clinical studies for better cancer care.
The Role of Research Nurse
As a Research Nurse, you are responsible for the initiation, planning, and implementation of clinical studies – both drug trials and academic projects. You collaborate with principal investigators, doctors, research staff, and other colleagues within the tumor group.
The role includes informing and enrolling patients in studies, planning and following up on patient participation, as well as handling study drugs, blood samples, and biomarkers. You are also responsible for documentation and data entry into CRF systems (various databases).
You participate in monitoring visits, investigator meetings, and start-up meetings, and contribute to contract writing and budget work. An important part of the assignment is to develop the unit's working methods and contribute to our regional and national research networks.
We offer a permanent full-time position with start date as agreed. Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday.

Your Profile
To be considered for the position, you must be a licensed nurse with experience in clinical work, preferably within oncology or other research-related activities. You have good computer skills and training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP). You must also be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. We see it as a bonus if you have experience working in research projects, sample handling, or data collection within CRF, as well as experience in patient contact within cancer care.
