Primary Health Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run primary care centres, four emergency care centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the child health unit, 1177, and a general medical education centre. Linghem Primary Care Centre is located five minutes by commuter train from Linköping city centre and currently has approximately 6,850 registered patients. Job Description

As a diabetes nurse, your main tasks will be the diabetes clinic, telephone advice, and an emergency function. You will have varying tasks and collaborate closely with other professional groups. There is an opportunity for you to work from home to some extent if you wish.

Work Group

We are approximately 27 employees at the primary care centre who enjoy working together in an open work climate.

The primary care centre includes a doctor's clinic, specialist nurse clinics, a nurse's clinic, child health services, psychosocial competence, podiatry, and a laboratory.

About You

You are a licensed nurse or district nurse, preferably with experience in primary care. It is an advantage if you have education in diabetes. You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, corresponding to C1 level.

You have good cooperation skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Furthermore, you have a pleasant manner towards patients and colleagues. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. We are looking for someone who adapts easily to changing circumstances, is stress-resistant, and communicates in a clear and non-hierarchical manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
