Bällstahof is a modern nursing home located in the heart of central Sundbyberg, close to public transport, walking paths, shops, and restaurants. Bällstahof offers 48 apartments of varying sizes across three floors, distributed over six wings. Each wing contains eight apartments. The facility provides care for both dementia patients and somatic conditions.

We work in interdisciplinary teams. The motto of the elderly care service, "Human encounters - we care!", permeates the operations, and all interactions should be characterized by warmth, attentiveness, respect, and commitment. With our residents at the center, planning, implementation, follow-up, and continuous improvement are natural parts of the work. Sundbyberg City's elderly care is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, a tool for effective quality management.

To our operations, we are now looking for one or more registered nurses for hourly employment on an as-needed basis. Working hours are primarily during the day, Monday to Sunday, but may also include evenings, Monday to Thursday. As a nurse, you will perform standard duties. You will have a leadership role where it is important to create a team together with the care staff, in order to offer the residents patient-safe and person-centered care with a focus on a meaningful and dignified day based on their wishes and needs.

We are looking for you who are proactive, meticulous, curious, and responsible, and have good communicative and pedagogical skills with a genuine interest in working with the elderly. You see solutions instead of problems. A desire to work salutogenically is a prerequisite.

Qualifications

You are a registered nurse with a few years of experience working in municipal elderly care. If you have specialist education in areas that the employer finds relevant, this is of course an advantage. You must master the Swedish language in speech and writing. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

The position is an hourly employment on an as-needed basis.
