Örebro Waldorf School is located in Adolfsberg, adjacent to Sommarroparken, and is run by the non-profit Johannaskolan Foundation. The foundation's mission is to promote Waldorf pedagogical activities. The foundation also includes Waldorf Preschool Viljan and the after-school center Björken.

Örebro Waldorf School is a K-9 school with 180 students. We are currently looking for a new school nurse as our current nurse is retiring. We are seeking a registered nurse with further education in primary healthcare, pediatric healthcare, or school health services.

Your main responsibilities as a school nurse include promoting and preventive health work, health conversations, documentation, vaccinations, and basic healthcare interventions.

As a school nurse, you will be part of our student health team, which also includes a special education teacher, school counselor, school doctor, and school psychologist. The team is led by the principal. As part of a multi-professional team, you will contribute your specific expertise and knowledge.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You have experience and knowledge of working with digital tools and medical record systems. At Örebro Waldorf School, we use the ProRenata system.

Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, are skilled at building relationships and collaborating. You work independently and prioritize activities efficiently.

The position is a permanent part-time employment (50%) with a start date in August. A probationary period will apply. Personal suitability is of great importance in the hiring process. Recruitment will take place on an ongoing basis during the application period.
