About the Role

Academic Work is recruiting a Service Technician on behalf of RTI Group. RTI Group delivers products used for quality assurance of X-ray equipment in healthcare settings around the world. The products are technically advanced in many respects and return at regular intervals for recalibration and service. As a Service Technician, you will be part of the company's operations department and work with calibration and repairs of their products. Within our operations department, we work flexibly with both service and production, but for this role, the main focus will be on service. You will join a team of five people and will also have several internal collaborations. The position will begin with an introduction to the company's technology and products.

Responsibilities

The role of Service Technician involves performing test measurements and calibration. We work in an accredited lab and have high demands on structure and precision. The work will also include contact with RTI Group's customers and distributors in an international environment, meaning your communication skills in both Swedish and English are a prerequisite for success in this role.

• Calibrate in RTI Group's accredited X-ray laboratory according to established procedures
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on products/parts of products that are not functioning
• Be part of handling the entire service process – from incoming service orders to packing and shipping outgoing orders
• Manage orders in our business system Pyramid and handle customer contact, primarily via email
• Be part of ensuring fast, high-quality service and a premium experience for our customers

We are looking for someone who

• Has a technical education with a focus on hardware (high school education or relevant further education)
• Has a general interest in technology, especially electronics and hardware
• Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience with soldering
• Experience from servicing technical products
• Experience in jobs where you have had customer contact, as this will be a large part of the role
