About Parkdalaskolan
Parkdalaskolan is a newly established school for grades 4–9 where we build the future together. Here you work in modern, bright premises with good opportunities for collaboration and pedagogical development. Our full-time mentors are responsible for mentoring all students – which gives you as a teacher more time for what you do best: teaching.
The school is centrally located with proximity to both the city centre, swimming hall, and the nature-friendly Brunnsparken. The upper secondary level has approximately 325 students, and the staff consists of about 50 dedicated employees.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. You work actively to meet each student based on their conditions and needs, with the goal of promoting knowledge development and goal fulfillment. Together with the work team, you contribute to developing and maintaining the school's value base and view of knowledge, where active and conscious value-based work is a natural part of daily work. You show commitment and initiative and participate in the school's systematic quality work.
In the role, you contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. You work to motivate the students and strengthen their will and ability to learn. You are well acquainted with the school's steering documents and ensure that documentation is carried out according to current requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must have a teacher's license, with eligibility to teach in the current subjects for the position. Another person who holds a pedagogical education that the employer assesses as equivalent may be considered, but then for a fixed-term appointment.
You have experience and competence in reading and writing development.
You are a confident and engaged educator with good ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, guardians, and other professions in your professional role. You have good knowledge of the primary school's steering documents and documentation requirements and are accustomed to implementing these in your daily work. Furthermore, you have experience teaching in the current grade level and thrive in the classroom.
Since an extract from the criminal record is a statutory requirement, such must be presented to you if you become a candidate for the position. You can find the application for the extract at the police:

Duration: Permanent.
