RESPONSIBILITIES

As a process operator at the heat plant, you deliver district heating to the company's customers. We also deliver waste heat from LKAB. You will work together with a colleague as shifts are double-staffed; the shifts follow a five-shift rotation. The role includes optimizing our production facilities, starting and stopping boilers, turbines, and other auxiliary systems, as well as supervision such as rounds, corrective, and preventive maintenance.

As Kiruna Kraft faces a major transition involving the phasing out of waste incineration and replacing it primarily with waste heat, the role will involve daytime work with varied tasks. These will include maintenance and leak detection on the network during the summer and, in the future, for part of the year.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys collaboration and has good communication skills. You should be a problem solver capable of handling emerging tasks, which means you must be able to work independently and take initiative. Since we work based on a set of core values, we also look for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, is efficient, and has a strong commitment and understanding of the environment, technology, and economics.

It is an advantage if you are certified as a boiler operator according to AFS 2017:3 – use and control of pressurized equipment.
