Cyclife Sweden AB is a company within the EDF group (Électricité de France), one of the world's largest employers and a major player in the energy sector. Cyclife is in a major growth phase and operates nuclear technology activities in the Studsvik area outside Nyköping. The company currently has 240 employees and possesses world-unique specialist competence regarding the decommissioning of radiological facilities. We help our customers minimize the environmental impact of their radiological activities. The Swedish facility is located in the archipelago outside Nyköping. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have a background in qualified accounting, preferably from industrial companies, groups, or audit firms, and who are ready to take overall responsibility for the company's financial accounting and reporting.

Requirements and qualifications:

• Extensive experience with accounting according to K3 (required), preferably with knowledge of IFRS
• Experience in independently preparing annual reports, tax returns, and other authority reports
• Experience with reconciliations, closing processes, and budgeting
• Good knowledge of tax matters
• Experience of contact with external auditors and authorities
• Experience from working in an international group
• Very good skills in Excel and other parts of MS Office
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Merits:

• Experience working at an audit firm
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Practical experience in various complex accounting issues, e.g., provisions and fixed assets
• Understanding and speaking French

The role requires patience, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex issues in a clear and pedagogical manner. You need to be receptive and team-oriented, while also taking the lead in your expertise.

What does the role entail?

As Chief Accountant, you will have a key role with responsibility for the company's accounting from A to Z. You drive both strategic and operational parts of the accounting work and ensure that reporting maintains high quality, complies with regulations, and is delivered on time. The role involves close collaboration with auditors, the CFO, and other internal stakeholders – where you provide security, structure, and expertise in accounting matters.

Your tasks include, for example:

• Performing bookkeeping activities and monthly closing
• Preparing annual reports and authority reporting
• Handling tax matters and returns
• Managing investments, fixed assets, and provisions
• Managing contact with auditors and preparing for audits
• Participating in improvement and change work within the finance function
• Providing support to other departments in accounting matters
• Actively working with cash flow, budget, and follow-up
