The operations are based in Karlstad and cover the entire municipality, serving customers between 07:00 and 22:00, seven days a week.

Job Description

We work to leverage each individual's strengths and abilities, basing our care on their specific needs and wishes.

You are responsible for providing customers with good, high-quality care and support.

This includes, among other things, personal care and support, utilizing the customer's own resources, activation, social interaction with customers, and outdoor activities. It also involves preparing, cooking, and serving meals, washing clothes, and cleaning in the customer's home. Documentation according to SOL and medication delegation are also part of the role.

You will work with ambitious colleagues who have a great sense of humor.

About You

We are looking for you with a nursing assistant education (undersköterska) or experience in care work. Previous experience in elderly care is an advantage. We place great emphasis on interpersonal skills, communication, contact management, and documentation in journal systems.

You thrive in providing good service, building nice relationships, and want to give quality of life to our customers. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about elderly care and can identify individual needs.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education (or equivalent) of at least 1350 credits.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
• Good computer skills/computer literacy.
• Cycling proficiency is a requirement.

Merits

• Previous experience in elderly care is a plus.
• Category B driver's license is a plus.
