ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are now looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a team working with EDA tools (Electronic Design Automation), software, and systems used to design, develop, and manage electronics and circuit boards. The team's mission is to create efficient workflows and provide support to electrical engineers in their daily work.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine technology, support, and improvement work in a varied and developing day-to-day life. You will work closely with users and help develop and optimize the tools and processes used in electronic design and product development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support and help users with technical questions and issues.
• Participate in improving workflows and processes.
• Test and evaluate new tools and solutions.
• Create and update documentation, guides, and training materials.
• Work with simple scripting and automation to streamline work.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Have a post-secondary education in electronics or a related technical field.

Not required, but advantageous if you have:

• Knowledge of Siemens Xpedition or similar systems.
• Knowledge of PLM/PDM systems, such as Windchill.

We are looking for someone who is curious and solution-oriented with a structured and analytical approach to work. You have a service-oriented attitude, communicate clearly, and enjoy collaborating with different types of users and teams. You also have a strong interest in technology and smart tools and are motivated by finding effective solutions and improvements.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client's and our side is that you will become a direct employee of the client after a number of agreed months.
