We have recently acquired a company specializing in medical aids and ergonomic office chairs, and we are now looking for a technically minded and hands-on individual who wants to help build and develop the business forward.
This is a key role for you who thrive close to both production and product development, and who enjoy combining hands-on work with technical responsibility and development.

About the role
This is a broad and practical role where you will work with both product development and production.
You will be involved in the entire process, from design and prototyping to testing, improvement work, and the final product. The role involves both practical work in a workshop environment and technical responsibility for development, quality, and documentation.
You will work closely with production, suppliers, and end-users to develop patient and office chairs with a focus on ergonomics, functionality, and sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and build prototypes for new products
- Drive technical improvements in products and production processes
- Conduct tests and technical documentation
- Contribute to technical leadership in daily operations
We are looking for someone who
- Enjoys building, improving, and solving problems in practice
- Can take a product from idea to prototype and finished solution
- Is hands-on and thrives close to production and the workshop
- Has strong self-drive, takes responsibility for moving work forward, and has good problem-solving skills
- Has a good understanding of product development processes
- Works in a structured and quality-conscious manner
It is an advantage if you also have experience with:
- Medical device regulations such as MDR or ISO 13485
- Products with electric motors, actuators, or hydraulics
- Mechanical design and CAD
- Technical documentation and verification work
- Medical aids, ergonomic products, or manufacturing industry
- Technical education in mechanical engineering, medical technology, or a similar field
