Ersta Elderly Care is part of Ersta Diaconal College and operates a total of nine elderly care homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a secure and content-rich daily life, featuring activities, community, and good, pleasant meals. At our facilities, everyone should feel at home!

In November 2026, Miriamhemmet will open as a completely new care and support residence within Ersta Diaconal College, located in the new Tenstaterrassen area. Miriamhemmet will comprise 80 modern apartments distributed across eight units and six floors, featuring bright communal spaces, balconies on each unit, and a large green rooftop terrace. The residence will be adapted for both somatic and cognitive illnesses.

About the role

As a nursing assistant, you will collaborate closely with residents, relatives, leaders, and the rest of the nursing staff. You and your colleagues plan the workday based on the residents' individual needs and wishes. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful daily life for those living with us are important parts of the job. We focus on person-centered care, activities, care meals, and key worker relationships.

In the startup phase, you will play an important role in helping to establish structures and working methods for the nursing care. You will combine nursing work with contributing to the team's development.

This vacancy is for a night shift position.

Your experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• A professional certificate as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen)
• Previous experience working in an elderly care home
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills

Previous experience working with individuals with cognitive impairment is an advantage.
