About the role

As a Business Controller, you have a central and advisory role in the organization. You support the business and leadership with qualified financial analyses, follow-ups, and decision-making materials that contribute to achieving both financial and strategic goals. The role is characterized by close collaboration with the business operations and a proactive work approach where you combine numbers with business understanding.

You work in a structured and independent manner within your area of responsibility, while having many contact points and being a natural partner in financial matters.

Your main responsibilities

• Work with budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial follow-up

• Analyze results, deviations, and key figures, as well as identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency

• Prepare decision-making materials, reports, and presentations for managers and leadership

• Provide business support to operational managers in project, decision, and follow-up matters

• Participate in monthly and annual closing in collaboration with the accounting function

• Develop and improve financial processes, routines, and working methods

• Participate in projects and change initiatives as financial support

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in economics, such as a Master of Science in Engineering/Economics or equivalent, along with several years of experience working as a controller in a similar business-oriented role. You have strong analytical skills, good business understanding, and are accustomed to working with budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and communicative, with the ability to adapt financial information to different target groups.
