Cook Wanted for Summer Camp in Åre – Week 28, 2026

Unga Allergiker is looking for an experienced cook for this year's summer camp for young people with asthma, allergies, or other sensitivities.

About the Assignment

Every summer, Unga Allergiker arranges a highly appreciated camp where young people aged 11–17 have the opportunity to make new friends and participate in activities in a safe and secure environment. We are now looking for a cook who will be responsible for planning and preparing allergy-friendly meals during the camp week.

Period

July 6–12, 2026 (Week 28)

Location: Södergården Åre, in Undersåker

Scope

Temporary assignment/fee for one week

Responsibilities

• Participate in a digital presentation with the camp leaders
• Design the menu in consultation with the camp managers
• Create an order list and order ingredients
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert for approximately 30 participants during the camp
• Ensure safe and secure handling of allergens

The participants have various types of allergies and sensitivities, which places high demands on precision and safe food handling.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in professional cooking
• Has knowledge of allergy-friendly diets and special diets
• Is responsible, structured, and solution-oriented
• Can work independently and collaborate with the camp management
• Has a good attitude and enjoys working in a youth-oriented environment

We offer

• A fee of 20,000 SEK
• Accommodation and meals during the camp week
• Reimbursement for travel to and from Åre
• Opportunities for future assignments upon successful completion of the work
