Backstage Hotel offers a creative environment with rooms, suites, and lofts where guests can see how modern design, music, and art can be woven together into an experience beyond expectations. Adjacent to the hotel are the restaurants The Visitors Bistro, Backstage Bar, Backstage Brasserie, and Backstage Café.
Backstage Hotel includes three restaurants with associated bars, Konsthallen, Popstory, and The Visitors Bistro.
The hotel is located on the beautiful Djurgården island, right in the center of action, with several of Stockholm's attractions such as ABBA The Museum, Skansen, and Gröna Lund just around the corner. It takes only 10 minutes to get from central Stockholm, and the tram stop is right next door.
We are now looking for an early-rising star to join our breakfast team! The breakfast service staff are the first people our hotel guests meet in the morning and play a key role in ensuring guests have a memorable hotel breakfast. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and never hesitates to go the extra mile to give our guests the absolute best start to their day.
Are you passionate about providing great service and creating memorable experiences? Read on!
What does your workday look like?
As a breakfast server, the guest is always your focus. You welcome all hotel guests with warmth and leave a personal and memorable impression. Your primary task is to exceed our guests' expectations through exceptional service.
Examples of tasks:
- Welcome guests at the door
- Ensure the buffet and restaurant are well-prepared for the day and maintain expected standards
- Follow daily routines such as cleaning and restocking stations, etc.
- Serve and take orders from our guests at the table
- Stay updated and have knowledge of the assortment and contents
After breakfast, you may work in the café or at one of our restaurants. The role requires you to be curious, flexible, guest-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks.
Working hours vary but usually start early in the morning. Weekend work is included in the role. You report to the Restaurant Manager.
Who thrives here?
You are a social person who always keeps the guest in focus and finds joy in having varied tasks across different departments. You have an eye for order and details and work structured even in stressful situations.
Experience with breakfast and/or à la carte service is a plus, but the most important thing is that you have the right attitude. We hire for attitude and train for knowledge!
You have an interest or previous experience working towards climate and environmental goals. Cirkus Venues has been certified in accordance with ISO 14001 since 2022, and we consider environmental impact in all aspects of our daily work.
What do we offer?

Send your application to us. Recruitment is ongoing.
We look forward to receiving your application!
Backstage Hotel is part of Miramis, a group with hotels, restaurants, and arenas in Italy and Sweden. What we build is about experiences and meetings. We believe that joy can arise in many different contexts – at a rock concert, during an evening walk, at a memorable dinner, or in an unexpected meeting in a small fishing village. We develop by listening – to guests and employees – and by understanding the place's history and heritage. There are no solutions that fit all. Every place, every guest, and every day is unique.
Today, Miramis owns five properties along the southern coast of Tuscany and owns or operates four more in Stockholm. What unites them is the connection to the place. Each project carries a social and cultural heritage that we build upon – with creative energy, contemporary design, local engagement, and a sustainable way of working with hospitality.
For Miramis Sweden, sustainability is a matter of course and something we actively work with in all areas. In 2022, together with our friends on Djurgården, we received the prestigious “Green Destination Award” from the organization “Green Destinations”. This was due to the successful sustainability work that Djurgården carries out regarding, among other things, environment and climate, culture and tradition, social sustainability, and hospitality. We see this fine award as both a confirmation and inspiration to continue our important sustainability work in the future.
Here you can find a video about the Royal National City Park's sustainability work.
