Your Responsibilities

In the role of Commercial Project Manager, you will become part of a collaborative and dynamic team where you work closely with project management and report to the Head of Commercial Project Management. You have overall responsibility for commercial and financial matters within a defined portfolio of service and aftermarket projects and play a key role in ensuring both business success and high customer satisfaction.

You are responsible for the financial tracking and commercial management of projects throughout the entire execution phase, and you actively contribute to identifying and managing risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement together with the project team.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overall responsibility for commercial and financial matters within projects, including accounting, tax, legal, currency risk management, and NCM.
• Management and optimization of the projects' financial results, such as revenue, gross profit, cash flow, balance sheet items, and financing solutions.
• Responsibility for commercial documentation related to project meetings and ensuring correct and updated project data.
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS 15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines, and internal control processes.
• Responsible for correct project accounting and registration in relevant systems, such as SAP and global reporting tools.
• Management of invoicing in accordance with project plans and contract terms.
• Responsibility for bank guarantees, remburses, and other payment securities.
• Supporting the project manager in identifying and minimizing cost overruns, as well as implementing lessons learned and improvements in operations.
• Contributing to the identification, evaluation, and management of risks, opportunities, and strategies within projects.
• Business travel may occur in this role.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a relevant university or college degree in economics, as well as previous experience in project economics, accounting, or other commercial areas, such as banking.

You have strong analytical skills and a holistic perspective, while also thriving in collaboration with others. You are curious, unpretentious, and have a knack for asking questions and driving your work forward in a structured manner.

Furthermore, you have good knowledge of data and IT, where experience with SAP, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Teams), and visualization tools like Power BI are considered meritorious.

You have good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and additional language skills are an advantage.
