Job Description
We are looking for a Regional Customer Manager for our western region, based in Helsingborg or Halmstad. The primary task for our Regional Customer Managers is to increase sales by guiding and advising stores on products, placement, prices, and campaigns with the goal of creating profitability. The role involves setting the local marketing plan, implementing category-promoting activities, in-store events, and profitability follow-ups. You are also responsible for ensuring an efficient assortment, analyzing and communicating customer-level statistics, and managing category work in the assigned area. Additionally, you will coordinate cooperation with and coach some of the store sales representatives. You will be part of a team of dedicated colleagues and report to the Regional Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze customer data to identify potential.
- Create an annual sales area plan in collaboration with the Regional Manager.
- Create long-term development plans with stores through business meetings.
- Ensure stores are "sales-ready" together with the sales representatives.
- Create plans for visits and activities.
- Drive regional programs to secure market growth.
- Secure regional volume targets.
- Responsible for regional campaign plans based on profitable product mix and current marketing plan.
- Ensure implementation of the marketing plan.
- Ensure sales-ready departments in stores and coach sales representatives in efficient store operations.
- Continuously follow up, report, and take action to close gaps against the Annual Plan (AP).
- Follow up on sales representatives' goals, efforts, and development areas.
Who are you?
You have at least 3 years of experience from qualified and documented successful sales within the food industry or from retail work in the grocery sector. Experience in category management is an advantage, as is education in economics and/or marketing.
To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have high drive, be efficient and self-motivated, relationship-building, and business-minded. You are a good communicator, accustomed to seeing different business opportunities in stores, and consider focusing on profitability a given. You take initiative and have good problem-solving skills.
Experience in personnel management is welcome, but the position does not include personnel responsibility.
You must have a valid driver's license (Category B), good economic and IT skills, and good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
