We are now looking for parking enforcement officers for the Skåne Parking Unit.

The positions are need-based employment. We appreciate that you are flexible and can work varying hours.

The working hours vary but are often scheduled during daytime. However, night shifts and weekend work may also occur in some cases.

You will be based at our office in Malmö and work throughout most of Skåne.

About the role

The purpose of parking enforcement is to promote road safety, increase traffic flow, and improve the quality of life in residential areas. As a parking enforcement officer, you conduct parking control on municipal land and private plots. You ensure that parking regulations are followed.

You work independently but with responsibility. A large part of the job involves proactive work.

This means you help answer motorists' questions about parking rules, or politely and courteously explain why they have received a parking penalty or control fee.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a fully trained parking enforcement officer for municipal land, public law parking control.

We are looking for people who are service-oriented, positive, have a natural calmness, and can work under periods of high pace.

You are good at communicating with other people and are loyal and honest towards customers and us as employers.

We want you to be:

• Service-oriented
• A good listener, but also good at talking to people.
• Accustomed to meeting people in different situations.
• Detail-oriented, humble, and clear, but also objective and firm.
• Have previous work experience from a service profession, preferably in the security industry.

We have some specific requirements for you as an applicant:

• You have a Category B driver's license, for both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Since the role involves addressing misconduct in traffic environments, it is important that you have not received speeding tickets or fines for other traffic offenses.

As part of the employment process, a check is performed with the County Administrative Board, as the company is an authorized security company and requirements for law-abiding conduct are important.
