Region Sörmland is seeking nursing assistants and students for summer vacancies in 2026

Region Sörmland, with operations in Eskilstuna, Katrineholm, and Nyköping, is currently seeking nursing assistants as well as students in nursing assistant, nursing, and medicine programs for summer vacancies in 2026.

Your Responsibilities

The healthcare services in Region Sörmland are looking for you who want a stimulating job with varied and interesting assignments. You should enjoy working with people, be flexible, and have good teamwork skills and a high sense of responsibility.

You will perform, plan, and follow up on care work within healthcare at the clinic where you are placed.

Your Qualifications

• We are looking for you who have a completed education as a nursing assistant. In addition to your grades as a nursing assistant, you need a certificate of your professional license as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) or a certificate stating that you were employed permanently as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023.
• We are also looking for you who are nursing assistant students who have completed at least semester 4 by summer 2026.
• We are also looking for you who are nursing students who have completed semester 3 by summer 2026.
• We are also looking for you who are medical students who have completed semester 3 by summer 2026.

Since the work largely involves communication, we require that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Multilingualism is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type

Fixed-term employment. Irregular working hours may occur as we operate 24/7. Start dates are continuous, according to agreement.
