The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer interventions grounded in several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve providing older people with a secure and meaningful daily life, supporting individuals with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

With us, you meet every individual with respect and professionalism. We collaborate across professional boundaries – both within our own department, with other parts of the municipality, and with external actors. To ensure quality and development, we actively work with follow-up, improvement efforts, and digitalization.

Here you make a real difference – every day.
