Production Manager at AB Derma – Gråbo

Do you want to take overall responsibility for production in a family-owned industrial company with a long history and high future ambitions? We are now looking for a Production Manager who wants to take significant personal responsibility in a business with strong specialist competence, a long history, and close customer relationships within the Nordic process industry.

About the role

As a Production Manager at AB Derma, you are responsible for the entire production chain – from incoming materials to finished delivery. The role is central to the company's continued growth journey and suits you if you thrive with a combination of practical work and responsibility for planning, structure, and improvements.

You work closely with the owners and have great opportunities to influence how production develops forward, both through daily operational work and long-term improvement initiatives. As we are a smaller organization, you need to be self-sufficient, flexible, and comfortable with a broad scope of responsibility.

The role is primarily operational but also includes strategic responsibility. You plan the production while simultaneously performing the daily production work yourself.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Plan and structure incoming orders
• Practical production work in the manufacturing and processing of sieve cloths and filters
• Gritting, gluing, and processing of metal mesh
• Receive and ship deliveries
• Order materials and follow up on purchases
• Drive structure, standardization, and improvement work
• Collaborate with management regarding technology, priorities, and investments

Qualifications

We believe you have experience from manufacturing industry or a similar practical technical environment. Experience from the metal industry or welding is an advantage, but we place great emphasis on personal qualities and the right attitude.

You don't need to know everything from the start, but you should be hands-on, self-sufficient, and enjoy varied work where you get to take responsibility.

About the company

AB Derma is a family-owned company founded in 1956 and is today run by the fourth generation. We have recently moved into fine new premises.

Our customers include several of the largest companies in the Nordics within the pharmaceutical industry, chemical and plastic industry, mining industry, food industry, research, and other process industries.

We manufacture sieve cloths, filters, sieves, and cloths for sieve frames. We also sell stainless steel mesh (metal cloth), synthetic mesh on rolls and cut pieces, as well as ultrasonic equipment for sieve shakers. In addition, we offer laboratory equipment for particle analysis, such as sieve shakers, analytical sieves, and sample dividers.
